Dogs at the Fischerwirt – dogs at Lake Achen
Dear dog owners!
Your four-legged friends are always welcome. We are not a dog hotel, but we do allow our guests to bring their dogs with them, and they are permitted in the restaurant/breakfast room. They are, however, not allowed to sit on the chairs or benches and should not bark excessively!
The Kirchberger family running the Fischerwirt has always had a dog and our current canine companion HUGO is allowed to wander throughout the hotel – namely in the restaurant and breakfast room as well as in the outdoor area. For guest info: HUGO has been castrated, is well-behaved and gets on well with other dogs!
We ask our guests to please use the provided dog waste bags for their dogs as it really is not very pleasant to step in dog dirt! We provide these bags for the duration of your stay.
In public buses and on the lake boat, it is compulsory that dogs wear a muzzle! There are no exceptions to this rule. Muzzles are available to buy from our kiosk by the boat docking point or from reception. Alternatively, guests must bring their own.
